Planning Commission Meetings are open to the public and scheduled on the first Monday of each month at 7 pm, except for holidays. Meeting dates and times are subject to change. Please check the City Calendar (tab next to the "News and Announcements" tab on the home page of the City's website) for the latest updates or click the link below. Meetings take place at Rochester City Hall Council Chambers, 400 Sixth Street, Rochester. Meetings are currently in a virtual platform amidst COVID-19.

About the Board
The Rochester Planning Commission is comprised of 9 members, including the Mayor to hear submissions, including Site Plans, Rezoning Requests, Master Plan, Land Uses and many other developments contained in the City's Zoning Ordinance. The powers and duties of the Planning Commission are provided by Act Number 285 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan for the year 1931, as amended, and the Rules of Procedures adopted by the Planning Commission.
