Voter Registration Information for August 4, 2020 Election


Anyone who qualifies as an elector must register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at the City of Rochester Clerk’s Office, located at 400 Sixth Street, Rochester, MI 48307 at the following times:

  • Regular business hours:  Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 1, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Election Day, Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

DTE Tree Trimming for 2020

DTE Energy will be preforming tree trimming during 2020 to help improve electric reliability in the community. The DTE planners will be out in the field beginning Tuesday, July 7 (weather permitting) to plan the work.

Asian Tiger Mosquito Identified in Metro-area


This mosquito can transmit viruses such as dengue, chikungunya and Zika to people. Although there have not been any illnesses associated with these species of mosquitoes in Michigan, it is important to take precautions.

The City continues the annual West Nile program to help cut down on the mosquitoes in the area.

City Intends to Issue Bonds

Clinton River Advisory


Please avoid the section of the Clinton River between downtown Rochester and Yates as the river flow in this section has moved to a bypass channel leaving the normal route completely dry above and below the Yates Dam.
